This Upperbot is "Unit 02", so creatively named as homage to its predecessor, Unit 01. Unit 02 improves in only one major way over Unit 01 in that it has a sub-quantum encoder installed, which "allows for such precise movements as to sometimes move before it actually moves." Or at least that's what the advertisement on the box said. Anyway, the control module for the subquantum encoder is on bot's back and can be easily scrambled by any amount of kinetic energy.
